Step 1 First of all, download the latest NinjaTrader 8 release from the link above under the section "What you need before beginning." The file will be downloaded to your browsers download directory. The installation file will automatically include the 64-bit version and desktop icon during installation if you are installing on a 64-bit version of Windows. There should be an NT8 64-bit icon on your desktop. You can double click it to launch the NT8 64-bit platform. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any other NinjaTrader.

Once NinjaTrader is installed, desktop shortcuts will appear on the desktop. We recommend using the 64-bit version, as this will take more advantage of your computer’s resources, and thus possibly run faster. If you have an older computer, only the 32-bit version.

Correct when installing NInjaTrader on a PC running a 64-bit OS both a 32-bit and 64-bit version will be installed automatically. If you do not see the "NinjaTrader 8 (64-bit)" icon on your Desktop to create a shortcut please go to the Windows menu->Open the NinjaTrader 8 folder->Hover your mouse over the NinjaTrader 8 (64-bit).
